Let's talk about success!

Image
Today's topic is success. Since I am a science teacher, I will explain success the same way I would explain any topic. There are some sections in any topic. Such as the definition of that topic, what are the types in that topic, what is the measurement criteria of that topic and what is the unit and formula of that term? First of all we will understand what is the definition of success? The meaning of success can be different for everyone. For example, earning a lot of money can be success for someone, it can be success for someone to reach a respected post. Strengthening your relationship can be a success for someone. But when you see the essence of all these, that is, you feel satisfaction after getting all the things. So in short we can say that success is achieving something to reach to the satisfaction So in my view there are 4 types of success . 1) Short term success : Short term success is the type of success that we get quickly.By early achievement, I mean t...

Keep the Best Unfollow the Rest.

Image
So yesterday I was surfing the internet in my spare time, and I found a line written like " Keep the best and unfollow the rest ", a small smile came across my face when I read this line. I loved this line so much that I thought why not elaborate it and write something more about it. So this sentence is applicable to everything in our lifetime. Whether we are talking about our decision, whether we are talking about the people around us, whether we are talking about a dish, or we are talking about anything else. We always want the best. We are faced with such crossroads at every stage of our whole life in which we have to decide which is best for us? Now we have to find out which way is best for us, if we come across a crossroads. So what would be best for us? The best for us is not what we want and obviously best is not what we don't want at all. The best may be the one in which the ratio of the two to the specific amount. The best is not that which...

How to concentrate on studies?

Image
Science has made a lot of progress in today's time. We can see that progress with our own eyes in our everyday life such as invention of mobile phone, invention of computer, invention of tablet and etc. things which have made our life easy and comfortable. Adding to this is the use of the Internet, which has brought far-flung news to us at a touch away. And by using this internet, platforms like social media were also created so that the general public can connect with each other, meet and express their views to each other. And the increasing trend of this social media is also seen in today's children. Where earlier children used to take care of themselves only towards studies or sports. Now the same children spend almost the whole day using the internet in their mobile or computer. And through this social media platform, they interact with each other and spend their time. The time that children should spend in studies or outdoor sports. Now the same time is bei...

Chemical Properties of Acid:

Image
Concentrated acid: It is a type of acid solution in which amount of acid is more. Dilute acid:   It is type of acid solution in which amount of acid is less. example: In test tube A:4mL of HCl is dissolved in 10mL of water,                    In test tube B: 8mL of HCl is dissolved in 10mL of water. Acid present in test tube B is more concentrated. Chemical properties of acid: (i) Reaction of acids with metal:  Acids give hydrogen gas along with respective salt when they react with a metal. Metal + Acid → Salt + Hydrogen Examples: Hydrogen gas and zinc chloride are formed when hydrochloric acid reacts with zinc metal. Hydrogen gas and sodium sulphate are formed when sulphuric acid reacts with sodium metal. Test For Hydrogen Gas:  The gas evolved after reaction of acid with metal can be tested by bringing a lighted candle near it. If the gas bums with a pop sound, then it confirms the evolution of hydrogen gas. Bu...

Solutions of liquid in liquid

A(l) + B(l) à Solution P 0 A =Vapour pressure of A in Pure state.                                                P 0 B =Vapour pressure of B in Pure state. Pure state means= only one component is present in container. Vapour Pressure:-   It is defined as the pressure applied by vapours of liquid above liquid which are in equilibrium with the liquid at constant temperature. Factors affecting vapour pressure:            1) Temperature                                 2) Nature of Component 1)       Temperature: ...

Questions related to Henry's law.

Q.1 If N 2 gas is bubbled through water at 293K, how many millimoles of N 2 gas would dissolve in 1 litre of water? Assume that N 2 exerts a partial pressure of 0.987bar. Given that Henry’s law constant for N 2 at 293K is 76.48 bar. Q.2 H 2 S a toxic gas with rotten egg like smell, is used for the qualitative analysis. If the solubility of H 2 S in water at STP is 0.195 m, calculate henry’s law constant. Q.3 Henry’s law constant for CO 2 in water is 1.67 x 10 8 Pa at 298K. Calculate the quantity of CO 2 in 500g of soda water when packed under 2.5 atm CO 2 pressure at 298K. Q.4 If O 2 gas is bubbled through water at 293K, how many moles of O 2 gas would dissolve in 2 litre of water? Assume that O 2 exerts a partial pressure of 1.987bar. Given that Henry’s law constant for O 2 at 298K is 70.48 bar. Q.5 If H 2 gas is bubbled through water at 293K, how many millimoles of H 2 gas would dissolve in 1 litre of water? Assume that H 2 exerts a partial pressure of 10...

Introduction to chemistry

Image
Chemistry is the branch of science which deals with the study of composition, properties and structures of matter and the changes which the matter undergoes under different conditions and the laws which govern these changes. Main Applications of Chemistry Chemistry has given us a large number of life raving druge Life saving drugs like cisplatin and taxol for cancer therapy and AZT (azidothymidine ) used for helping AIDS victims are latest contributions of chemistry in medicines Chemistry for our comforts , pleasure and luxuries: Chemistry has also pioneer contribution towards our comforts , pleasure and luxuries . It has given us building materials , synthetic fitures and variety of articles of domestic use .  Chemical industries manufacturing fertilizers , acids , alkalies , salts , dyes , polymers , drugs , soape , detergents , metals , alloys and other organic and inorganic chemicals including new materials have improved our national economy . Chemistry for gi...
